Wasn't sure where to put this...
But, have you ever noticed in some of the poker rooms (pokerstars, etc.) that there are a large amount of pictures of babies and children on the players icons?
In my opinion, I think it is sad that there are so many people playing with pics of their kids.
It seems to me like gambling for your kid or in your kids name just isn't a good thing.
You know the old quote "Come on seven, baby needs a new pair of shoes!!!"
Sometimes I just want to tell them how I feel...
Just an opinion
Happy Belated Halloween Everyone!!!

I moved it to UnluckBox Section.
I don't see anything wrong with it. People are very proud of their children, that's all. There was one day, I was playing live poker in the casino and I saw a lady reading a book by Mother Teresa at the Poker Table
The book's name was: "Love: A Fruit Always in Season" "Daily Meditations by Mother Teresa" so I asked her if she prayed for cards and asked her if it helped, she said, "Sometimes." So I thought I'd try it...the next hand dealt to me in a Seven Card Stud game was the Deuce of Clubs making me have to pay the forced bet. I exclaimed "Jesus" and lost the hand.
In conclusion, it's not a good idea to pray for help when playing poker, you must use your own skill.
This is a true story.

To be honest, when I'm playing at pokerstars, I just look for the 'Intellipoker' avatars (or 'Intellidonks' as they are known).
They give away their money.

I hear you...
I guess for me it just brought up images of alley crap games, with fathers spending the days wages yelling "baby needs a new pair of shoes".
While I am sure most are just proud of their kids, I still think some are like those back alley games.
Thoughts of really irresponsible gamblers came to mind...
Unlike us "RESPONSIBLE GAMBLERS".....
LOL
P.S. I hope your back problem gets resolved

I usually block most of the avatar images of folks on Pokerstars, unless thay have something really cool or a hot picture of some fine babe that is.
I hate cute little puppy or kitty avatar pics the most. I always block those.
