Harrahs preparing for online business..

Did you guys heard that now Harrahs is planning to step in online business. They are trying utmost hard to pass Barney online gambling bill to overturn current UIGEA rules.

I even read that Harrahs hired Mitch Garber, former CEO of PartyGaming in order to take care of their online business.

Things are looking pretty cool and tensed too. If Harrahs enters online gambling business, the competition level will be at its peak. Harrahs may also try to buy out party.

a little ironic. I was under the impression that the land based casinos where one of the biggest surrporters of the ban . correct me if I am wrong.

We have one of the Harrah's casinos here in Canada in Windsor, Ontario. I think it would be great if they do go online, they'll probably bring their casino games in as well.

These offline gambling firms have contributed a lot in passing UIGEA bill, but when they saw that people are preferring online games to offline due to many reasons such as traveling, fuel cost , food & drink expenses and many other and they thought "If you can't beat them join them"

Yes Mooley .... you r right. We pay tax to government what else they want after that we are free to use our money in any forms. We are adults and we elect these bunch of craps and after that they try to act smart and go against our wishes. We should be free and should be given full liberty to use our hard earned money. Can't I even play poker for $5 sitting comfortably at home.

Until and unless we r using our money for entertainment purpose or any other purposes, except involving in any other illegal activities which ruins society and globe we should be set free.
