Have you ever looked outside and thought it was great day? Well that’s what happened to me today. I woke up around 2PM cause that’s what I do. I should probably wake up earlier, but most of the time I stay up until 5am tinkering with this site or whatever else. I walk outside to find that it is near 70 degrees, the first hot day of the spring and I am loving it. I hate the fact that I have to go to work, I was tempted to take the day off and frolic in the sun, but like you I got bills to pay. So I head down to the fishing hole, not the local Mystic River where the smelt swim, you know the one and decide to play 5/10 7 Card Stud because all the 10/20 tables are full and quite frankly I just don’t want to wait for them. So I sat down and looked at some of the usual suspects who hate when they play against me because they think I am aggressive and they would rather play 5/10 and socialize about gall bladder operations and bowel movements. But anyway here I am. I look down at the first hand and see two black jacks in the hole so I must raise. Of course they think, “Here he goes again!” so I get a few callers. I don’t improve on Fourth Street and neither do they so I bet and get two calls and then bet again on the next street and get no calls. Scoop! I joke and say, “see ya guys” and most of them are thinking I wish he’d really go. Next hand I get rolled up aces, yeah that’s right the very best starting hand in 7 Card Stud. I limp in and to make a long story short I win a $200 pot. So that’s $265 in 15 minutes, I didn’t even have time to get my coffee and best of all everyone gets up from the table and the game breaks. So I got my day off after all and now I am here typing this while I wait to watch my favorite baseball team, The Amazin’ Mets! Thirty minutes left.

The Poker Forum is Growing!
Thank you to all forum contributions. I would also like to make a special introduction for PokerProf our 7 Card Stud Specialist. PokerProf will be posting in the 7 Card Stud Forum as well as offering general poker advice. We look forward to hearing PokerProf's insight into the game of poker. Rumor has it he wants his own forum within our site. So keep in touch with him and me, PokerGob and let me know what you think of his writings and advice. We do have a suggestion box in the Poker Forum and encourage all to use it to transmit your ideas to the community.

March is coming to an end and Spring is here. PokerGob would like to thank all our forum members for their posts. To continue to be the fastest growing Poker Social Network, we need your help. This is a little thanks to all who have joined our site. Our aim is to grow a self moderated poker community. If you see any spam or emails that you feel are not poker related, please let us know. PokerGob is a place to learn about poker and enjoy meeting new friends. Ocassionally there will be people who use the site to solicit our members for other reasons. As your site administrator I have the ability to ban IP addresses and moderate unscrupulous posts, but I need your help.
When I am not playing poker at the casino, I am usually sitting in front of the computer trying to make this poker site the best one you will find on the web.
It's 4am in the morning Eastern Standard Time and here I am making this silly post...hope you all like it.
 Lastly, I do sleep so I need your help in keeping this site friendly and what it is intended to be: "Your Mouth of Poker!"
