Decluttering the Blog site

I am new here, but thought I might make a suggestion.  A majority of the blogs appear to be advertisements to certain poker rooms and their various promotions.  I dont look at blogs for that.  I want to see what other members are saying, and to get advice on how to play.  Is it possible to put all the advertisement in a forum section specially for that, and leave the blogging to the members?

This would be great for all members. It's possible that, as this site is still finding an audience, the only way to make profit is by putting the advertisements in a prominent area. 


One thing that might help is if the members actually wrote blogs! There are so many members here that have yet to input anything on the blog page OR the forum page. For such a great site, you would think that the members would be a little more active.
