I have been playing a little more on G2G poker lately, they gave me some free money so why not. The site uses the exact same client as Carbon poker which is a really great site if you haven't tried it yet. Matter of fact, you cannot use Carbon, Walker Poker or G2G at the same time because of this.

On March 28th I entered a $50 Freeroll with about 453 other players. I made it through the tournament knocking out a few people a long the way to the final table. At the final table I was chip leader but the blinds were in the 15k/30k range and the table was fairly aggressive stealing blinds as they could. Hard to protect your blinds with a 27 off suit. Got down to 3 of us left and I held a middle strength hand, Q8 off in the SB I believe. I ended up getting into it with the BB betting aggressively into him after hitting a decent flop. Held top 2 pair by the river and the BB was a calling station. He had the chips so I guess he figured it was worth the risk to keep calling my big bets. River came and I went all in for my last 38k in chips and was instantly called. He had sucked out on me with a straight I think it was. So I finished 3rd in the money for a free $5

On March 29th I entered another $50 Freeroll with about 553 other players. Worked my way through the crowd holding a fairly decent stack most of the game. I played very tight-aggressive and got low in chips. Hit a hand and doubled up on it which led to 2 more double ups within a few more hands holding monsters. With over 100k in chips I made it to the final table. Last 10 of us with 2 players holding very low stacks. Less than 3k. Had a real jerk sitting to my right. A real trash talker, amazing how he made it this far with the way he played. I waited for the cards to come all the while jabbing at his ego. Not something I normally do but he started in on me and I wasnt in the mood for it so jabbed back a few times. Hit a couple of monsters that got me all in on his stack winning both times. By this time I was over 220k in chips and he was very short now and fuming. Another player knocked him out thankfully. I continued to play very tight and aggressive as the cards came my way. The other players knocked each other out bring us down to the last 3. The player to my right now had bluffed me a couple times showing each time he did, normally would when he was in the SB and I was in the BB. I used this to my advantage later. I let him and the other player go at it and in one hand we were down to 2, me and the bluffer. I figured this for a fairly decent battle between the 2 of us, but thankfully I had been paying attention to how the people at the table had been playing. How they played position, what cards they liked to play, etc. First hand heads up I am in the BB with QJ off and the bluffer goes all in on me. I have him covered 3 to 1, instant call. He turns over a 35 off suite and moans HAHA. Flop comes KJJ. I laughed so hard it hurt because the bluffer knew he was done for. He typed in something like OMG NOOOOO!!! Turn and River were blanks and the tournament was over. Enter the winners trophy screen and an easy $15 for my 3 hours of finger clicking.

Just thought i'd share my last couple of days of online play. I am planning to move to New Orleans in a week and start playing Harrah's. Wish me skill!
