If pokergob realy wants to keep outsiders out of the freeroll tournaments maybe i have an idea...
i think that we need to keep the password out of the shoutbox....
maybe Pokergob can make an auto-reply section on the site.
A section where Pokergob can controle who recieves the reply password...
If members want to play on the freeroll they just need to send a standard kind of message to pokergob (kind of pre-subscribtion) who sends back the password 5 minutes before the beginning of the tournament, i know it is realy short, but when i want to play a tournament i'm already logged in on the site where the tournament takes place so I just have to read and write, it just takes 5 seconds to register.
this way only the members who realy want to play are able to register. sure in 5 minutes you can pass the password, but if pokergob already has controle on who gets the password maybe we'll cach the one who passes it.
Hope this isn't a stupid idea, hopefully it helps...

I'm so sorry to hear we didn't have the subscriptions to play the freeroll.....
I realy want to play them all, but this one was on a sunday at 03am belgian time....
Sometimes we have to take oure responsabilatys and choose.
i'm sorry, but if registering for the game and not playing in it is a solution to the problem then I guess that's what I'll do, but it will take away the nice play we have on oure small comunity tournaments....
Maybe playing this tournaments on fridays ore saturdays will help.
ore not having them every weekend, but every 2 ore 3 weeks...
on the other side i also understand the site to cancel the tournament, but i think protesting won't have any effect on them....
I hope we/you all get to play soon the nice tournaments again....with lots of members....

ok, just to keep you informed that I finished 56th on doyles Vegas Legends...
It wasn't a bad tournament, but the pocket lady's didn't pay off.
I guess the pocket queens are no good for me this week...
Thanks anyway to PokerGob to have the possibility to try it. Even that i didn't win anything i'm not that sad...I would never pay a buy in like that to play poker but it was a nice experie
maybe next time lol.....

Hi all...
I just want to apoligise for the last freeroll at carbon poker...
Why? well i think i wasn't a good bounty...
I was already playing a tournament on doylesroom for abouth 6 houres and i was seated at the final table......
to be true: i was tyred becouse the tournament was at 4am local time so I didn't realy played attentfull. When i had a chipstack of 250 ore something like that i did see in the shoutbox that I whas one of the bounty's....and to be true i didn't like it very much.
I had to fold pocket queens 2 times in a row becouse of flushdraws and overcards dropping like fly's....
when I knew I was the bounty it was already to late to do something abouth that, so I got killed slowly...
I agree it wasn't the best tournament i've played and that 's the reasen i want to say i'm sorry. If I ever be the bounty again i'll make it hard for those who want that shirt very much....
I hope that tomorow i'll be the lucky one to post that I won the Vegas legends tournament at doyles, but to be honest i'm a little afraid that the level of game is a little to high for me....
But who knows, as everybody here we all know that everything is possible in pokerland....

Hi all,
i guess i was lucky last saturday....
When i started the tournament i was seated with Wilder at the table, my target becouse i really wanted that t-shirt. I guess everybody wins sometimes some money, bit the idea of winning something you can touch was new for me....
So that was realy my goal for the night, but it turned out diferent...lol
Maybe some of you remember how i won last tournament on Doyles and to be true the money was nice but I didn't like the way i won.... When it was heads up my opponent just gave away everything.
So when my stack was growing slowly slowly i started to think of that and i wanted to realy earn a victory on a pokergob tournament.
At that point the patience came back in my mind, becouse that was the way i "won" last time. After doubeling up with pocket Aces I started to play for the victory...Before i knew i was seated at the final table, wich i entered in 5th place. Not realy bad but a little short stacked. My patience payed off when when i was able to kick out Wilder and winning that shirt i wanted from the start.
My day was good...I jumped up behind my computer and made a little dance LOL, i realy liked it....But then the real mork needed to be done: winning the chips of the other short stacked at the table to be able to win the tournament. My plan didn't realy work and the stacks stayed the same for a few hands...
The blinds made us play i think....Then i got pocket 4 and i hoped thet i could do something with that even if it wasn't a realy strong hand. The chipleader went all in.... I took my time and layed down the hand, one of the hardest i ever had i think. As i folded i did thik "why doesn't he do that when I have pocket facecards ore something like that.
Next hand AQ spades came my way and lucky as i was the chipleader went all in so i called. He had KJ if i remember well, the river gave me pair of aces wich was enough to double up....
Now i was the chipleader and i carefuly chose my moments....
When i finally won the tournament i could not believe it, but i whas so happy that i even woke up my wife......lol....she wasn't that happy to be waked up at 4.40am (i din't understand why she wasn't)
Only the day after i realised what i won....a seat at vegas legends, feeder tournament for the WSOP, to be true it's a dream to play there once, but i whas sure that it would stay a dream for me.
Now thanks to Pokergob this dream came a little closer, a little becouse i still have to winn the next tournament to be in the WSOP.
I surely will tell you all abouth it on monday after the tournament....
When i say Dream on, my buddy says: no, just believe in yourself...
and that's what i'm going to try in the next week believe that i can make it in the next tournament and take that ticket to the WSOP...
It would be a nice experience to go there, even if i would be kicked out as first, i think that it would be the pokerexperience of my life...
I hope for sunday that the cards and God will be with me.
Thanks to all who played on the freeroll, becouse it whas nice playing again, just like last time. I feel friends with all of you, and it's nice to play with friends as you all know.

Hi all.....
I have some great news: my wife gave birth on 04-04-2008 and it's a boy....
I'm so happy i already had 2 girls, so now there is someone to back me up......hahahahaha
His name is Benjamin and he was 3.760kg end 49cm a nice and sweet babyboy...
I'll teach him how to play poker when he's old enough......lol
I guess there are not much good reasens why someone misses a privete tournament, but for me this whas one good reasen.
So to all the people who played on the duplicate poker freeroll: sorry that i wasn't there, but now you know why.
I hope you can forgive me.....

So as promessed.....
There are some pictures of my poker table in progress in my galery....
I called it the virgin table becouse it is the table "naked" whitout all the options and decorations.
These are comming up next week I hope.
I hope i can wait to play on it untill saturday.....lol.
It gave me a lot of sadisfaction to build it....and i know for sure I'll have a lot of fun playing on it..
Next week I hope it will be totally finished.....if it is you know where to find the pictures....
If there are some more suggestions just let me know: any help is more than welcome....

he table is goin to be just fine i think...
Here you can see a picture of it, but it still needs to be painted.
The cloth isn't fixed yet becouse i don't know yet if this is the one I'll use.
Green is nice also.
Even the color of the rail is hard to choose but maybe some of you have suggestions....
The space under the rail I left is gonna be filled with little lights (wich you wont see) so when you play even in a darker room you are able to see your cards well and I think it's gonna give a nice atmosphere around the table...
I think it looks already nice......
Any coments ore suggestions, please let me know...

i am building a 8 person poker table, just to play with my friends on the weekends.
It is the first time that I do this so I looked and found some information on the net, but may i ask your help?
Did anyone have build one in the past, and what kind of materials did you use.
Ore what would you like to have on the table if you would build one (cupholders, chipholders ect.....).
Please if you have some ideas, answer me, i would like to build a nice pro-looking table.
I wil show the pictures on the site while I make the parts.....
